The firm was established in 1980 by partners André du Preez and Freddie Snyders as Du Preez and Snyders specialising in housing developments and commercial complexes. During 1986 Freddie emigrated to the States and the firm continued as André du Preez Architects as it is still known at present.Appointments by City Councils for the design of Civic and Community Centres, Libraries and Traffic Centres became the core business during the late 80s and early 90s. This gradually changed to upmarket residential and office designs during the later 90s to where we currently specialise in the following:Lifestyle Homes, Townhouses, Offices, Process Driven Factory Structures and unique design solutions for existing Non Viable Commercial Buildings.
