We strive to enhance our visitors experience through interactive opportunities. Through having contact animals and ambassadors to a tactile garden environment. Themed events and conservation based presentations are designed to delight and educate through conversation.We are a small Zoo in the Heart of Suburbia in Pretoria East (Near The Grove Mall).Perfect for small families and schools.During this time the animals will be moved to other cages in order for us to redesign their own enclosures to look more natural. Children are welcome to climb into the empty enclosures... and view the world from the animals' viewpoint.Lemurs, Aldabra, Rabbits, Cats and more - Five interns started at Bester Birds Zoo in November 2016. Together they will be working towards gaining experience with animals, visitors and conservation. Learning about the animals they care for they will be exposed to animal husbandry and welfare. Helping teach our next generation and help the zoo move forward.
